What is freeze-drying?
Our fruits are freeze-dried with great care – the world's gentlest method for preserving fruits and vegetables. The frozen fruits are placed in a vacuum chamber, where the water they contain is gently removed by negative pressure. What remains are wonderfully light, crispy snacks full of flavor.
The best part: thanks to this particularly gentle processing, valuable vitamins and nutrients are almost completely preserved. Our freeze-dried fruits contain no additives whatsoever – they are unsulphured, oil-free, and 100% natural.
And because they have a long shelf life and can be stored without refrigeration, they fit perfectly into your everyday life – whether on the go, during sports, or as a healthy snack in between meals.
Natural, crunchy, simply delicious.
Why are freeze-dried fruits so special?
Freeze-dried fruits are the perfect solution for anyone who wants to integrate healthy eating into their everyday life easily and flexibly – whether as a snack, an ingredient for baking, or a fruity topping for breakfast. They have a long shelf life, do not require refrigeration, and can be stored ideally in bulk – so you always have a colorful selection readily available, regardless of season or origin.
Due to their light weight and practical shape, they are also ideal for on-the-go – whether in the office, at school, during sports, or on family outings. And best of all: Our fruits are 100% natural, unsulfured, oil-free, and come without any additives. Thanks to the gentle freeze-drying process, vitamins, nutrients, and the full aroma are preserved – for a natural taste that children and adults alike love.
Whether in muesli, porridge, yogurt, when baking, or simply eaten plain – freeze-dried fruits are versatile, practical, and simply delicious.
Are freeze-dried fruits healthy?
Yes – freeze-dried fruits are a healthy and natural alternative to conventional snacks. The fruits are quickly and gently frozen immediately after harvesting and then gently freeze-dried. This process preserves most of the valuable vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals – significantly more than with conventionally dried fruit.
Our freeze-dried products are 100% fruit – completely free of additives, preservatives, or added sugar. They are unsulphured, oil-free, and natural. This makes them ideal for a conscious diet – as a supplement to fresh fruit when you're in a hurry, as a vegan snack for on the go, or as a healthy alternative to sweets, which is especially popular with children.
Another advantage: thanks to freeze-drying, the fruits are not only particularly aromatic and crispy but also richer in micronutrients than conventionally dried fruits. However, it is important to know that the removal of water also concentrates the natural fruit sugar content. For comparison: 100g of freeze-dried strawberries corresponds to about 1kg of fresh strawberries.
In short: Freeze-dried fruits are a practical, healthy, and natural companion for everyday life – full of flavor and full of good ingredients.
What can freeze-dried fruits or fruit powder be used for?
Freeze-dried fruits and fruit powders are true all-rounders in the kitchen – they bring color, flavor, and valuable nutrients to many dishes and snacks. You can get super creative here!
Classically, freeze-dried fruits are perfect for preparing your own muesli, porridge, smoothie, yogurt, and protein shakes or bowls. You decide how fruity you want it to be. They are also ideal for making homemade ice cream, energy balls, chocolates, chocolate bars, muesli bars, for tea preparation, fruit ice cubes, or simply as a practical and delicious snack for in between meals.
You can use fruit powders just as versatilely – for example, for your vegan or gluten-free breakfast in bowls or shakes. Simply mixed with natural yogurt, you can create homemade fruit yogurt without any additives. Our raspberry, strawberry, and wild blueberry powders are particularly popular. They are also frequently used for baking, as a natural coloring agent for cream or dough.
Important when baking: You should only add freeze-dried fruits to the dough shortly before baking, as they can burn more quickly due to their lack of water content. When using fruit powders as a coloring agent, the baking temperature should not be too high.
